We offer strength training for older adults using
exercise bands, also flexibility training using stretching straps and
handles. All are suitable for people over fifty, seniors, and frail
older adults. You can increase
muscle tone and strength with portable, easy-to-use exercise bands. Ideal for
the home or
while traveling. Our exercise bands are made of the highest quality rubber latex
tubing for abrasion and tear
resistance.

This kit is the most versitile for older adults. Many exercise are
included in the instruction sheet, but we reccomend these 10
execises for a basic strength-training program for older adults.

Squat -
buttocks, back of thigh, low back
Hip Extention - buttocks, back of thigh
Leg Extension - front of thigh
Row -
mid-back
Chest Press
- chest, front of shoulder, back of arm
Reverse Fly - back of shoulder
Bicep Curl
- front of arm
Arm Kickback - back of arm
Outward Arm Rotation - rotator cuff
Inward Arm Rotation - rotator cuff
Additional exercises to help support the low
back, hips and knees:
Trunk
Extension - low back
Kneeling
Crunch - abdominal muscles (strong abs help support the back)
Leg Crossover - inner thigh/hip
Side Leg Lift - outer thigh /hip
Leg Extension - front of thigh (strengthens muscles resonsible
for keeping the knee tracking properly)
